Appearances In The Media

Recently discovered on YouTube, this footage shows me at the tender age of 5, marching along in a parade for Queen Elizabeth's Silver Jubilee celebrations. I'm visible from about 1:12 - 1:19, swinging my arms wildly...

Just before starting their tour in October 1998, Deep Purple appeared on Channel 4's The Big Breakfast. Harj and I got the chance to go and watch.

Over the Bank Holiday in May 2009, my niece was asked to help in James May's new series, James May's Toy Stories. I got roped in to help when I went along to watch on the first day of filming as the wing was a little too large for the children to turn over.

You can see my back to the right of the wing...

Queen decided to release their new Absolute Greatest album in conjunction with Logitech on their new Logitech Squeezebox internet radio. Along with a few others, I was invited to the launch evening to find out more.

2011 was Queen's 40th anniversary year and, amongst other things, the band opened an exhibition in the East End celebrating their first 5 years together. Three friends and I were invited to the press launch.

Unfortunately, we had to work for our tickets. We were asked to write a review of the night and this was published on Queen's website:
